Thanks Dutch. I ordered some stuff from you to equip the netting and tarp and its all working flawlessly.

I was thinking of getting the pole mod to add to this setup. Do you think it would work well with the Ponderosa tarp and netting/palace being attached on the underside?

Yes but there is not as much bend in the aluminum poles as fiberglass ones. So you have to watch how hard you pull down on your tie outs.

Any recommendations on where to get the fiberglass ones. You have those?

Can't take full credit as its been a collaborative effort of previous designs and a lot of input from Gbrugs and others, but thank you very much. I'm happy with the final product(if anything is ever final, haha!)

I'm intrigued by this design. Looks really well thought out. I'm curious as to how this is broken down for carry in the pack. I would designate this as something my dog would carry. How small can you get it down to and can you shoot photos of that?

Ill pull it out tonight and pack it up small and give some pics with tape measure.

I leave my hammock in it so its a bit bigger but very easy to setup.

Here is a pic. I folded in half twice and then rolled it up pretty tight. Definitely can get smaller with compression sack. I could easily strap this to my dogs bag and may fit in some larger doggie backpacks.

It is roughly 13.75" long by 5.25" high and 5.25" wide. Can make it shorter and fatter or longer and skinnier.

    Hope this helps.

If you need more info, let me know and i would be happy to help.

That's more than fine. Looks like it would work well in a dog pack. Really like the idea of keeping my girl out of the bugs but more so contained with me when we stop. Thanks for the time and photos.

Im glad it will work for you.

Yes the tick and bug thing in MN was a must have. Almost not worth bringing my boy if I didnt have a way to keep the critters out. I dont think he would sleep.

Let me know how it goes if you order. Im curious how it will work for everyone else!!! Just hoping you all enjoy it as much as we do!
