So sorry I couldn't make it out there, guys. Life keeps getting in the way of my hammock hanging. I trust everyone had a great time and filled up on some fantastic grub. Three cheers for Addam for all of his efforts.

Rick...
This year we were able to raise $1,550.00 for Homes For Our Troops through our annual raffle at the SoCal Hangers Group Hang! That’s more than twice what we raised last year!
Thanks to the remarkable donations made by vendors of the hammocking industry and the generous ticket purchases by our SoCal hangers we are doing our part to help provide mortgage-free and specially adapted homes for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.
Our donation will be going to help provide a home for Californian Army Specialist Carlos Gomez who lost his right leg and severely injured his back as a result of an IED explosion. This donation will assist in getting Carlos in a position to finish his college education, volunteer at homeless shelters, and continuing to deliver inspirational motivational speeches to other newly disabled Service Members.
I know there are a lot of vendors out there that are making fantastic products, but I would ask that the next time you need a piece of great gear to check through the list below and see if you are able to fill your needs with one of the folks below that are helping to make a helpful difference in the lives of people that need it most.
