    Hey all,

I'm officially in for the long trip. Taking solo canoe, and plan on being self sufficient. Silky big boy for spring trail maintenance, Becker BK2 as an axe substitute, small wood/alcohol stove.

Excellent. I'm going fully solo as well, although was anyone planning on bringing a group tarp, or take turns carrying one?

I was thinking of my guide gear 12x12 as a group tarp. I don't mind taking turns with it. Dibs on the paddling sections, you can portage it.

I'd love to, but I think I'll be weighed down with those two 20" lengths of 1/4" stainless steel tubes for a hilariously makeshift group grill. Besides, you'll be so busy catching fish that you'll likely be the last one to the portages and it would be dreadful to have to wait for you all the time.

Just so you don't have to wait for me, I'll take evenings, and you two can split days.
