So i have to be honest and say I've never considered Sweden a destination until now. I'm very impressed with the autumn foliage. I think a "International group hang" is something to consider. Very nice!

You are welcome. My advice is early spring or late autom.. Less people in the woods (we have a lot danish, german and english turist during the summer) .

And definitely avoid knot season! I was in southern Sweden in early June, and they were killing me!

The knots are worse in the northern parts. You must have been unlucky..the knots in the southern parts is seldom a big problem. (some years in some places we could have knots in jun-july but it's quite rare)

I'm usually hiking there once or twice a year (different places, skåneleden, hallandsleden, etc) and I've never met them before, so unlucky I guess.
I've never actually owned a bugnet, and this was the first time I've needed it. My friend had one big enough for two, luckily!
