Get that hammy back to warbonnet. We will just be guessing as to how or why this happened.
If Brandon thinks this was a material or build error there warranty is pretty dam good and even if this was operator error
I have never read a post that a WB customer got ripped off on a repair charge.

Did you sit on the net while trying to ingress the hammock?
Was the net/zipper possibly snagged on anything?
Was there already a small hole in that location?

I cant see how this would happen from simply sitting down.

I have had a few holes form on my net as well, nothing like yours, but still holes the size of a quarter, and WB offered to let me purchase a new net for my XLC. They are interchangeable and not hammock specific as the WB website states. I had a problem with my net upon delivery, Brandon sent me a new one and it fit perfectly. YMMV.
I didn't sit on the net and the zipper wasn't snagged as far as i could tell. That is what shocked me when it happened. It didn't have any holes in it. It ripped as soon as I sat down. Brandon told me to send it back and he would check it out. He has been great so I totally trust his judgement.

Brandon told me to ship it back to him and he would see if it was a warranty issue. I have no concerns about his judgement on this issue, warranty or not. I had a small issue when I ordered from him and he took care of it immediately. It has been a pleasure dealing with him. Brandon is top notch in my book and would highly recommend him to anyone. I already have gotten my best friend into a complete setup from him as well.

That's the Warbonnet we all know and trust. Either way at least it can be fixed.

Warbonnet stands behind there products 100%. I had a small issue with a tarp I purchased from them and requested an exchange and they did, even though it was a very small issue. The BB and Traveler hammock/ Wooki combination is the best system I have seen yet. Warbonnet is top notch in products and customer service.
