Hello everyone. Just bought my first hammock and fell in love. Did not realize how much of a niche hammock camping had. I also should of done more research before I jumped in. At least I know I like it and now can upgrade as finances allow.

Another warm welcome from NoVa. While you are checking out the site, check out the outing/southeast section. There always hangs going on near you. This November is the NOVA hang. It will a great opportunity to see a variety of hammock setups, meet some great forum folks, possibly meet some hammock vendors and eat some great grub.
