Greeting from the European Tree Frog (France)

Hi everyone, I now regret my choice of nickname but I'll live with it now.
I'm Hylarborea, where "Hyla arborea" is the name for the European Tree Frog and me being French and all that thought it was funny at the time. (but now that I'm sober I realize that it's not that easy to say)

I live in the Nice region (South East and on the border with Italy) and spend my time exploring the back country looking for old villages, some quiet, trying out a few things I saw in bushcrafting books and of course fantastic naps. My biggest problem was getting good gear here in France but thanks to the many good advice I've read on this forum I was able to catch up.
I've also seen that there are a few other european tree creatures here and I'd love to know about events and things we could organize here.

I've always thought tree frogs were pretty cool critters! Very cool choice for a forum name, appropriate and funny!
