Next weekend I am headed to Vogel State park in Georgia to do the Coosa Backcountry trail loop. Can anyone tell me anything about water availability on this trek? Anyone have a .gpx file?

It's been a while since I hiked this trail. There are some small streams but the only ones I remember are at the end of the loop where the CBT joins the Bear Hair Gap Trail. Try calling Vogel about water. Here's a map from Alltrails:

I haven't been up there in a couple of years but I know there's water in the beginning, in the middle, and towards the end. I think there were a couple more sources a lil off trail, but given the drought they may be dried up right now. Unless you're in great hiking shape it's recommended to hike it counter clockwise, especially if you're dayhiking it.
