Heber Hammock I am hoping to get into a hammock set up pronto. Feel free to keep me in mind. I can usually find time for camping :-)

If any of you Utah guys have the time and inclination I'm hoping to check out both gathered and bridge Hammocks before I buy. It would be nice to get a feel for it first. I could come to you.

Maybe we should all post when and where we go and leave an open invite, If things line up with someone else's availability they can join in. More opportunities and less commitment.

I'll probably do one or two over-nighters this month, then maybe 1 winter camp before sub zeros settle in.

    FYI I'm in Cache Valley

All are welcome to make the drive west to the Ruby Hang in a couple weeks. There are a few Utah folks coming already.

I was a part of the "group" that went on a winter hang last year (First weekend in January, if I'm remembering right). It was mighty cold... 7*F. We just went up to a campground near Donut Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon (East of SLC). From the Hammock Forums folks that initially said they were in, we had 3 that showed up and then one had to bail cuz his wife went into labor (good story). So, it ended up with just me and CovertNight that stayed the night.
Here is a thread that has gone stale, talking about the next one. I'd be game if there were more that could commit. It was fun, but it would be great to create a little more of a group of hangers in Utah.
    Welcome to the addiction!

I hesitate to offer only because I've been so busy lately that it's tough to find the time. I don't own any bridge hammocks but have multiple gathered end hammocks if you wanted to check them out sometime. My profile says I'm in SLC but I'm really in Woods Cross just North of there. Send me a PM and let me know what you're looking for and I'll see if I have any options that may help you in your decision making process.

I'd definitely be interested. Unfortunately with a wife, 2 teenagers, and 2 dogs finding some free time can definitely be a challenge some times. Im really interested in meeting up with some people so I can see some of their setups and get ideas for what I would like to do with my set up. Im from bountiful.

    Cheers.
