I see. Have to think about that.

If you opt no linelocs will he put guyline tabs/loops in place of it?

For what it's worth, for my sil-nylon tarps, I put shock cord between the tie out and my line locs as another method of helping with the slight stretch you'll get from that material by morning in damp weather. Helps keep the tarp a little more taught. But that means you'd ask Jared not to put the line locs on for you.

Until recently, when Dutch and RSBTR started coming out with more exotic tarp materials, it was Jared's standard tarp material.

Bombproof is what I'm after but within reason.
Your description pretty much explained it for me.

Leaning to the Winter Haven more and more!

1.4 isn't overkill. It's just a couple ounces heavier on an 11' tarp.

The line locs with the shock cord tensioner would look something like in this pic: https://www.google.com/search?q=line...B4TIYXm1UvM%3A

The irony of this picture is that the tarp is cuben fiber, which doesn't really stretch, and therefore doesn't really need the tensioner included in the lines.

Jared is located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and the OP is in Spokane. If it was ordered tonight, you'd probably be hanging under it by the weekend.
