Ok just had a thought. If we plan this along the Ouachita trail we can plan it over several days and others can join in where they can along the trip. It will require more of schedule but will make the whole organization not flexable.
What do you all think about that?

If I am still living in OK, I will tag along. My black hound will come with to occupy the bears while we escape.

Sounds like we have quite a few interested and should be fun. I am checking maps and trail info to try and figure out what will work for everyone. The Okla. portion is the hardest part with the highest elevation f change but it's also to most reliable water.
My thoughts are this: 5-6 day trip, planned overnights at specific sites somewhere around the 10 mi. range. Then anyone can Juno in or out whatever works best for their schedule. Water issue could be solved with stashes when talking a return vehicle to the end.

What do you ask think about that. Any other input would be great.

Are you looking at the western terminus of the OT in the Talihina State Park as a start point?

I am interetsed also. No preference on dates or location. I've not hiked any of the area, and I'm very flexible on specifics.
    Thanks!

Yes was thinking about starting at Talihina SP because i figure it would be a good rally point and plenty of room to park. Then if we have anyone is joining or leaving along the route it will just be a few vehicles spread across the route.

Of course we could do this at any point that has enough room. Queen Wilimena would prob work just as good.
