I know last min issues can arise but do need to see how much water we will need to stash so if you all could clarify if your in or still having to wait and see it would be great.

Need moved to the Out list. Will be stuck in KC for some work-required-classes and a certification exam. Would so much rather be out hiking...and have yet to get to do any actual HF group hike. Maybe there will be another soon that is in easy driving distance.

Shake those chicken wings! The ugly head of work went back into a coma! I will be down at Talihina SP on Friday hopefully before it gets dark.

Did this trip pan out? If so, how'd it go?

As far as I know, I was the only one to show up. There were some nice folk that I shared a campsite with and I chatted with the Park Host for a bit. Might not gotten to hike that section but it was still great to crash in the hammock.

Wish I'd known Lord. It would have been great to visit with you. I'm back in the woods outside Talihina and spend most nights in my hammock out in the woods. I was afraid the posted hiking schedule would just be too much for my old knees so I felt I couldn't try it. This is a great area though for exploring. Next time......

I finally got away the end of last week and did the old military rd, broadband loop. The leaves had mostly all dropped but it was still beautiful. Had a light rain the last day but not a downpour at least.WP_20161203_08_44_43_Pro.jpgWP_20161203_12_35_23_Pro.jpgWP_20161201_10_38_18_Pro.jpgWP_20161203_11_30_56_Pro.jpg
