I'd like to meet up with whomever's out there but it looks like I can only be out there Nov 3-6. I would arrive Thurs afternoon spend 3 nights on trail and head out Sunday. I'll be driving up from DFW area.

. I set this up so that anyone that can only make a portion can still join us. One other guy is only doing sat and sun and we will have his car waiting for him and the end of the second day. If someone needs to join in along the way they can also with the preplanned locations each night. And we will do water stashes at each camp location to avoid having to find it along the way.

How are you planning on getting back to your vehicle Sunday? Trip looks awesome and I'm pretty sure I can get the days off for the full thing but might need to bail on Sunday also and trying to figure out the logistics.

I am still tentative on my RSVP, but my plan, assuming I go, is to park at Horsetheif springs. Mpdm21 confirmed it is okay to overnight park there. It sounds like a few people have similar plans.

My schedule would be to arrive the evening of the 4th, catch a ride to camp from Horsethief, hike out the 5th, camp on trail that night, and finish by hiking to Horsetheif on the 6th. I would be more than glad to stash water and food in my car for those continuing on.

I plan on getting down fairly early on the 4th and we can stash water at each days stop. We will also park a return vehicle at queen wilimena and any others along the route that need to pull out early.

Unfortunately my plans have changed and I won't be able to make it to this event. I'm super bummed. Hope this happens next year!

My hound and I will be meeting up with you all on Friday at Talihina State Park. On Sunday, I have to leave so I plan on parking my car at Horse Thief Springs. If any of you would like to hitch a ride, let me know. I got room for 3 and will be driving down from the Muskogee area.

I know last min issues can arise but do need to see how much water we will need to stash so if you all could clarify if your in or still having to wait and see it would be great.
