I have 12 bugers/buns with a large can of baked beans for Thursday night. Bring whatever you like to put on them (aka stop at a fast food place and steal some ketchup)

Sounds like a plan! So dinner is good for Thursday and Friday morning we can do eggs & sausage gravy/cornbread. After that, we'll see what we've got for food and go from there. I really don't think we will starve and if we're motivated, we could always order takeout pizza from town.

I'm also tossing in a folding camp table, a 3 pack of paper towels and some garbage bags. My daughter is also making up a batch of her chocolate chip cookies and cornbread tonight . Anyone bringing popcorn?

Thanks Dirk! I think I'll make up chili on Friday or Saturday night...or whenever.

Just in case anyone missed it a few pages back, I'm bringing:

    bottle of whiskey
    15pack of Founders IPA
1lb bacon and 12 eggs for breakfast (bringing my stove)
    Chips, doritos, tortilla chips
Chili (I'm guessing a decent size bowl for 6?)
Coffee every morning to share (8 cup percolator)
Paper plates, foam bowls, paper towel

Got the groceries, making ice. Pretty much packed and ready!
Runs on propane, plugged in electricity or battery. But if you really want, I can bring a generator to lull you to sleep!

Just finished working on a lighter underquilt for the occasion. I still don't have the shock cord to suspend it but I will improvise for the moment. I want to see what some of you use. Still working on my ultralight (also ultracheap resale/bargain bin) set up. Shaving away those grams.

    Update from Ed
(Turkey): He made a run over there today and there was a camper parked where we originally wanted to stay in the upper loop. He did some scouting and now we are aiming for 2 groups of sites on different loops that share a backyard. So, sites 1 and
2 in the first loop and 11, 12, and 13 in the 2nd loop. Dirk will be up there tomorrow afternoon and I'm blasting off from the Detroit area by 1, with an eta of 3:30. I am organized and packed, after making another run to the store. Haven't carcamped in a while, so it looks like I'm bringing everything, plus backups of backups. See you at Jones!

FWIW... I will be bringing my hammock stand. So, if needed I can hang without trees.

Sounds good. I will try and grab a site on both sides when I get there and get some coffee going. Hopefully I will look creepy enough to send any other campers off to a different loop.

    See you tomorrow.
