The Terminator and I went on a road trip yesterday to check out Jones Lake State Park as a possible group hang site. While its a nice park with a swimming area and canoe rentals ect, it is not very hammock friendly. Only about 1/3 of the family campsites were hammock friendly ( had trees with the needed spacing ) and the group site looked like it could only accommodate about 6 hammocks.
We also checked out Pettigrew State Park recently which was also a nice park but not hammock friendly.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I'm gonna try to come down for this, but it'll be a couple months before the next schedule rotation gets posted...so much fun waiting to see how much time off I have to beg/borrow/steal...

Well it might be a possibility now that I've seen the dates for this hang. I have tentatively scheduled a Daytona Beach trip with my P's, my step sis and her husband from the 15th - the 23rd of October. I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to get that much time off and haven't had the nerve to tell Ma yet. I end up going to a hammock hang instead of the beach trip...
Man... I'm gonna' have to wait a bit before I can plan this out either way!! I love this hang! Was my first ever and I'm not intending to miss any if I don't have too! You folks are way too much fun!
