    WI>NCT or BRSF>August group hang

Here we go folks!! Who's up for an August hang? Looking into a couple of options, either primitive camping at BRSF http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/StateForests...r/camping.html or a hike through a section of the NCT in Northern WI https://northcountrytrail.org/trail/states/wisconsin/.

BRSF would be almost car camping, just not in a developed campground. A hike on the NCT would be just that, an excellent opportunity to see a piece of our fabulous Northwoods.

I've never been to either of these locations, so the only info I have is from those links. It's all new to me, and that's part of the fun anyways

Here's a direct link to our chapter. If the NCT is the clear choice I'm going to recommend a route that goes through the two wilderness areas. The Rainbow Wilderness and The Porcupine Wilderness. If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the thread or PM me. I'm heavily involved in both the Chequamegon and Brule-St.Croix chapters and live right next to the trail.

I'd be up for this. I love the area, but have never hiked it beyond a few miles on a leisurely day hike.
