Liquid Stitch and Silnylon

I'm sure this has been covered in the past, in fact I'm sure it's why I own some Liquid Stitch, but, today I did some repairs on a friends tent (gasp) and this stuff sticks well enough to silnylon that it will stay where you put it until you can get it sewn, much easier than pins etc.

It's new to me, but it looks worth trying. I once snagged a G4 pack made of silnylon and nearly went crazy trying to sew on a patch near the bottom of the bag. Ended up basting it by hand so I could get it to stay in place while I machine sewed it. Thanks, Red.

This stuff was great b/c I could fold the edges of the patch under and stick them in place then stick the whole thing onto the area needing a patch and its dry enough to sew almost immediately, unlike sticking it down with silicone.

I use like a pen that has a solid glue stick inside you wind it out a d rub it on, just holds it long enougb to sew, no mess
