Great! This will be my main hammock...especially in cool/cold weather with the zip-closed weather shield.

Slugger, slight sidetrack but that's an impressive resume! Thanks for serving and now that they aren't used anymore can you maybe, you know, slip me a Tomcat on the sly? Lol Always was my favorite bird. Bet a hammock would fit easily in the cockpit for those air show breaks.

I can just picture hanging a hammock from the belly missile racks...nice stable mounts and great shade!

Clark makes a decent solid hammock, alittle pricey though.
I had allways wanted one and waited for a good sale for a very long time, when they discontinued the NX 250 i contacted Spencer at Clark and he gave me a really good deal on 2 of them that i could not resist, have not used them much but i did spend a few nights in mine in the house, nice hammock.

I've set mine up a few times but not on the trail as of yet.....love the quality/finish of the Clark NX-270! How do you like your Vertex? I was considering purchasing 1 but the wifey wants her own so she can set hers up away from mine cuz of my snoring.....lol!

I've a Clark Tropical Ultra myself.. the quality and finish, like you mentioned, is what has made me a bit of a Clark fanboy, aha.

Vertex is sweet, just overkill when I'm solo though its funny to have an entire hammock for the backpack. Got paid tonight so ordering the Nx when I can growl playfully at Spence tomorrow.
I did a vertex and a liner review on here if that helps.

Spence was as easy to work with as always. The NX-270 should be here just in time to camp in a mid-90s weekend. Lol

I did the same, being from Georgia also. But I ordered mine at the time when the under cover was free with the order.
