Just ordered an expedition, and was expecting a free scout.....these posts have me excited that I may get a 2nd expedition!!!

I got my 2 HH's in just a few weeks ago... with the Internet Special, I ordered the Expedition Asym, got a free Scout, and a free set of Snakeskins, too.
Didn't get the "upgrade" to the second Exped. Asym., though.
Perhaps someone here can tell me why the Scout is rated for 200 lb, and the Exp. Asym is rated to 250, even though they're made with the same fabric?

I am a new member to this forum and while reading about the 2 for 1 deal I joined here and ordered the Christmas special as soon as I read about it. Since it being a holiday it will proably be next week before I hear from Hennessey.
I am getting to old to stoop down and crawl into a tent now days. I feel the hammock will be much better since one sits back into it.
I ride a goldwing motorcycle on trips to the western states in the summer and mostly stay in motels but i like the feeling of having a hammock just in case one wants to stay in a remote area or camp ground.
Got an explorer deluxe and snakeskins and a free scout in the sale. Ordered a bit too late christmas but it still arrived 2 days before!
Can't wait to get out and use it now.
URRGGGH!! Stupid Japan duty station! Everything takes so long to get here. I can't wait though. I bet you can count the flat spots suitable for a tent here on one hand. I NEED a hammock to camp here. PERIOD =<
Okay, finally the infamous HH ULBA has arrived along with the Scout, each w/ snakeskins as promised. I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality with which everything is put together. I can't believe how much static gets built up in this thing though! I shocked the living crap out of my cat 'accidently'. I could feel every hair on my body standing on end. I went and hung it up for a few mins before work and I can tell, I'll have to practice things like tying out the tarp in the right places and getting the tension right, but that's all part of the fun. Like Shug says: It just ain't fun if you can't tweak and fiddle with your stuff.
