Camping hammock color

I don't hammock to hide. If anything, I want bright colors in case I need to be found by rescue. This is mine. Granted I do have a brown Kelty Noah, but onyl because that's the only available color. When i order an UQ, I'm thinking Blue or Orange. Primary sleepnig bag is red.

I prefer muted color tarps, hammocks,and underquilts but brighter top quilts,so if needed I can be seen.I do think sometimes some of the really bright colors can be a bit Jarring to see in the woods.When I look across a lake,I don't really like to see a lot of dayglo colors on the shoreline,I think they are a distraction.Just my thoughts,HYOH.

I'm all over the board with my set up. Hammock is green and navy, tarp is black, I have a camo poncho liner uq and orange guy lines. Lol. I never even really thought about it til this thread. My wife's hammock is black and tan so maybe I should just switch with her

I don't like camo in general (only camo I do own is a ghillie suit for hunting), but I don't like to stick out either so my gear is all green, brown or black.

I'm new to hanging and definitely the type of person who would prefer to blend in. I first thought that this means I want camo gear and was disappointed that the camo print options are more expensive for most gear. I have since looked at countless gear set up pictures and honestly think that colors like olive brown or coyote brown actually blend in much better than the camo patterns. Some camo seems to stand out a lot for some reason. This has changed my opinion of camo to be more tacky than cool - what's the point of camo if it is not the best at what it is supposedly designed to be the best at?

Aw, dude! No way! I'll NEVER join the darkside! I don't even have a message. I let the pair of stuffed Spotted Owl chicks on my roof rack send all MY messages!

Mine is the plain, unmarked Subaru station wagon with all the guns in it; brimming over with enough gear for 5men and a large dog.

The color of the hammock depends on what I want to use. I have a Camo Hammock, Blue Gear Hammock, Olive Green Hammock, and Apple Green Hammock and a Couple of Brown Hammocks. I'm not trying to hide when camping unless needed. Yes, I do have a set of string lights for the tarp, they help me find my setup in the dark. My ability to see in the dark is getting worse the older I get. I can see the benefits of bright tarps, but they are not for me.
