A couple of us from HF had plans for doing the Shingle Mill Pathway in the Pigeon River State Forest, near Vanderbilt this weekend. But, we've decided to head to Green Timbers (west of the Shingle Mill) instead and do some scouting prior to our Big Tree Hang the end of February. We'll probably get to the trailhead around 7 PM Friday night, then hike in to the Lower Cabin and set up basecamp. The rest of the weekend we're just going to wander around and do some exploring. It looks like rain could be in the forecast, so the idea of the cabin seemed to good to pass up.

If anyone wants to join us, that's where we'll be. It's late notice, but what the heck, we're getting out and spending a weekend in the woods
