    This is going to be a great hang. Better news, maybe, Minnie·Soda and I are looking to buy a house west of Richmond. We are really trying to buy a place with plenty of land so that we can host the shooting spring ODH hang right there.
    Well, ok, because I want lots if land...with trees! :-)

    Drove up to the site/trailhead today. Last 2 miles(bout where you hit the gravel ) had an inch of packed snow on it. Was driving the old Celica ,had no problem . Would that be the hang site. Pretty and cold.

    That's where I'm thinking for it. Sounds good for now. We'll have to see what conditions are like as we get closer. Wish we could have an alternate site. I'll start looking into it.

    I've hiked in the Austrian alps. We took the long route ended up braking for "dinner" and dug a snow pit to block the wind. We eventually made it to our indoor sleeping accommodations after dark.
