I have to sign up. Have never been to jordan. Will bring some homemade chicken noodle soup. Are there any last minute things to bring? What is the road like to the parking area?
Have a perk coffee pot that I will bring

I came across this pdf showing the road access: http://northcountrytrail.org/j45/wp-...e-5-11-091.pdf . They are dirt and the map doesn't show Pinney Bridge Road going further west to M-66. That route is a straight shot in. Rain is forecast for Friday, so it will be muddy.
Glad you can make the trip Dogger and looking forward to meeting you. Anything that anybody brings is good...we're not that organized, but by the looks of it, the principals of the Gluttony hang will be upheld.
So, far, the list of those attending are:
Michigandave (plus 2 ground dwellers)
Squirrelbait
Turkey (plus Bob...rumor has it he has some type of pork dish)
Donk_67 plus his son Thomas
Christo456
AndrewB
CanGnu
Dogger
Unknown:
Duenge
Backpacker Guy
Anybody else care to join in the fun? Squirrelbait is up there for the whole week and has secured the site and some will be showing up Thursday night. I'll be rolling in Friday morning with my crew. FYI, as mentioned before, bring items for a gear swap if you've got anything ready for a new home.
Just by way of comfort zone, do we know what color and make of vehicle Squirrelbait drives? So we know we're at the correct parking spot.
As much as I would love to join ya'all. unfortunately I won't be able to. Have a great hang, and I'll be looking forward to seeing pics!
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.
When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

A few overviews of area. Piney Bridge road is 2.6 miles north of Alba RD. On M66. Turn right (east) and parking spot is approximately 1.5 miles on the left (north).
It actually comes up on Google Maps. Last spring, Google had it marked as "Penny Bridge". Lol

"Base Camp Set". Good deal. Hoping to get in and set up before the rain starts Thursday night.
Thanks very much Squirrel Bait, GPS set, don't you just love it. Our tax dollars at work.
Do we need a load of wood or maybe some way to process it while we're there?
