Should be plenty enough wood laying around we just need to drag it back to camp. If you want bring a saw.

Counting down the hours until I can head north, unfortunately that thing called work always gets in the way of fun. It looks like a few guys are heading up tonight. I'll be on the road at 6 AM Friday with my buddy, meet up with Turkey in Gaylord, then hopefully be at the trailhead by before 10....hopefully we will miss the rain. Forecast show temps in the 40's during the days and 30's at night. Should be perfect sleeping weather in the woods of Northern Michigan. FYI, squirrelbait has a cooler, so we're going to pick up some ice to replenish it.
Meanwhile, my gear area is a wreck, with piles of stuff all over either in the "take", "leave", or "back-up/just in case" pile. That's where I get in trouble, especially with the food , but I haven't had any complaints about that...FYI, I have a pound of jalepeno venison sticks and a bottle of milk stout to sample. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. Have a safe drive up and see you there. Life is good.
A great weekend. I basically got to experience all four seasons this weekend. :-)
Just got home and starting the unpacking and drying out process. I'm uploading photos and working on the trip report tonight, so I will open the new thread 10 AM Monday morning.
Stay tuned and thanks to all members of the Fellowship of Gluttons who attended this years event.
