Mountain Lion Stand Off.

Hey everyone, here is the stand off I had with a mountain lion while in Glacier National Park. It sure was a butt clencher, but probably the coolest experience I've ever had in the woods and I was so happy to get it on video. I walked up on the cat just past Goat Haunt and you can see some sort of abscess on her left cheek. I'm not sure what caused it. Maybe a tooth or it got kicked in the face?

I've had my dogs have abscesses like that from getting snake bit on the face.

Agreed, I'd guess snake bite or deeply embedded porcupine quill. I am amazed at your multitasking as well. Way to keep calm Fronkey.

Nice footage, here in Germany you don't see anything like that. I'm a bit jealous but at the same time am pretty sure I would have been scared shirtless...
I think though I already saw that video, it's it from your pnt-adventure? How is that documentary coming by the way?

Now, that's what I call a wildlife encounter. Good thing you were paying attention to the trail in front of you. At least you came away unscathed and have a cool video to share.
