    So you had no trouble hammock-camping here. Is the same true along the entirety of the AT?

    No problems here. We just used trees on the edges of the tent platform and hung over the platform. We did pass two nice looking areas that would have been great campsites.

    Not sure about the rest of the AT but I think it's hang able most everywhere.

    Thanks for your Trip pics and vids, the one time I went on the trail was spring time and it was like being in a refrigerator with all the ice and snow left over from winter, your picture brought back 35 y/o memories.

    It was 20* cooler in the notch. Some ice in the deeper crevasses that most likely never see sunlight.

    Great experience. I recommend it for anyone up to the challenge.
