Disposing of permethrin?

I recently reapplied permethrin to my various pieces of gear by soaking them in a bucket of 0.5% solution. What is the proper way to dispose of the solution that is left over? Can I dump it down the drain of my bathtub? Pour it on the road? I don't want to do any damage to anything or endanger anybody or any wildlife.

I have a lot left over. Also no real usable outdoor space to speak of. And the condo association already handles exterior pest control.

Got any empty bleach bottles? Keep it until next time. Otherwise the bottle may have disposal instructions.

I figured that was possible, which is why I am trying to find out the proper way to get rid of the stuff.

Thanks for caring. I didn't mean to sound harsh, I intended to confirm your suspicion. Save it or use it. You could offer to flea proof your friends dogs (not cats).
