sounds like that combo would get you well into -10's and maybe even lower with some added clothing. what did you make your uqp out of? ive seen a few guys make it out of sil or tyvek and im looking to make one for mine to help push it just a little lower. thanks for the info
I agree I can take it a bit lower - just need colder weather to test in!! UQP is just 1.1 rip stop, DWR, uncalendared. Really seems to help keep the heat in, winds have been pretty strong in southern WI when I've tested. Also, am using a Superfly, so that helps a bit too.
