My wife and I both enjoy our BB Double 1.1 with one left zipper and one right zipper. We sometimes share a pair of trees and use one big tarp.

If something happend to either hammock it would be replaced without hesitation

    Thanks Brandon,
    Darrel

    gimme that old time religion

So I'm probably thought of 'round here as one of those fringe nut case bridge hammock types, and it is true I do love my bridge hammocks, but a close second is the Eldorado. You see, the main reason that the flock of Blackbird owners aren't instead a glittering bunch of Eldorado owners is that the Eldorado has In Your Face asymmetric tie-outs. Which raised the ire of a certain someone who has a patent he interprets as covering that design, and got into WBG's face about it with lawyers and cease and desist orders and friendly community building overtures like that.

WBG's brilliance was to do a little of his own projection of face by a design that gives the same lay as the Eldorado, but is symmetric in cut (I think) and tie-outs. Viola Blackbird.

But a price is paid for that design, rather more fabric. Now you get the shelf and that is cool and you get a lot of room inside and that too is cool. But the price is more weight, and more bulk. The Eldorado, she's a lean machine, and I like her minimalist lines.

Couldn't have said it better Grizz. I'm a big fan of the ElDorado and she still finds her way into my pack from time to time.

Put me down for "yes" on the first four options.
    Trust nobody!

Another El Dorado fan here. I have a BlackBird, El Dorado, and a Traveler.

I have (1) BB, for now. Planning to buy a couple more next year, for back-ups and loaners. I can't really preach the wonders of hammocking, if I can't put someone in a hammock for a night, can I?

I want a warbonnet, mostly a Blackbird, partly cause I like them, & partly to piss of a certain person who shall remain nameless, but his initials are "T. H."

Go ahead and say his name. The copycat Canadian lurker, Tom Hennessy.

People are actually starting to use Blackbird as an extra keyword to list their Hennessys on eBay.
