That would totally tick off my neighborhood association....I gotta get it. I hate HOAs with a purple passion. I've turned into the neighborhood curmudgeon looking for every opportunity to poke the bear. Not proud of it but, well, there it is.

Spectacular. That gets my vote. DD, not only should you get that, I feel like a matching nymph fountain would go great beside it to set off the front yard. Group hang= Viking Fleet?

I may still have the FineWoodworking article on the making of this beast, I'm fairly certain that it was written back in the 90's. If memory serves, there were some unusual if not exotic species of wood used which is a good bet that it was a gallery piece. I'm pretty sure that one doesn't see any outdoor time.
