Who is waiting for cooler weather?

No bugs, no poison ivy, less crowded trails, nice warm campfire, and a snug hammock under the leafless tree, dew free starry sky...

I'm looking forward to fall weather... 60-70 during the day, 40-50 at night... What i'd really like is an "Indian Summer" after the first frost that thins out the mosquitos...

I am in Montana on business right now and really wish I had the time to go hike and do some camping. Daytime highs are only about 75 and lows into the mid 40's, perfect for me and I am loving it. Going back to Virginia and the humidity is not something I am looking forward to.

Funny about the relativity of it all. You're just down the road from my home base (Annandale). I'm in Florida at the moment and can't wait to get back to Virginia so I can hang in lower humidity and temperature!

head to the mountains and you will get cool weather now.
'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
