First trip out with WBBB, Superfly and HG quilts...

Wow. All I can say is WOW, I finally slept good in the woods! Went last weekend to Cumberland Gap and took out my new set up. I have some tweaking to do, but it was really awesome. It's true what they say--once you figure out how to lay right, you won't want to get up it's so comfy. I got a much better pitch on my tarp the second night--every trip will be a learning experience, I'm sure. The only thing I need to figure out that really bugged me was where to put stuff and how to change clothes. I'll get there!

Congrats - looks like you're ahead of the curve for a first trip. I have almost all of the same gear and they have all been great. I have nothing but good things to say about my WB, HG, and Dutch gear!

Well you have the shelf in the wbbb. I also use those little nylon S-biners and teather my stuffsacks to the hammock suspension.
Then you can put your pack just below you for additional storage.

I've never understood this whole modesty thing with changing cloths since I am usually solo or with friends.
I have always been able to sit in my hammock and change with no one glancing my way.

The amount of gear the shelf on a WBBB will hold will amaze you.

Good choice for your hammock gear. Once you get the right lay in a hammock and everything comes together, you'll never want to sleep in a tent again.
    Is it hang time yet?

First trip out with WBBB, Superfly and HG quilts...

I have almost the exact same set up when the bugs are out. I just put my tarp in porch mode (if possible) and use the hammock as a chair to change. You'll love your choice of gear!

The WBBB shelf, the ridge line, and the straps your hammock is hung on are all great spots to store gear. As far as changing, sit on the edge of the hammock, or stand beside. You have your tarp in "tent" mode, it looks like, so it's not like anyone who would want to catch a peek, can. Lol
