Tree Runner still available. Price dropped to $90.
Trail Lair and Tarp are sold. Tree Runner is still up for grabs.
They are both 71 inches wide.
I just got asked about hammock weights via PM, so thought I'd add that information. The Tree Runner setup weighs in at 20.4 ounces and the Trail Liar setup comes in at 21.3 ounces. I can weigh the...
All items have been stored in a bin in my bedroom closet. We have a smoke and pet free home. Each item is used with maybe 20 nights of camping on them, plus or minus a couple. All prices include...
I have a SLD Trail Liar in 1.7 MTN if that interests you. Also have some UHWMP, or whatever the acronym is, tree straps. PM me if interested.
I recently made an 11' silpoly hex tarp without the cat cuts. It worked fine through a storm I hung through a couple weeks ago. It doesn't hang quite as tight as my tarps with cat cuts, but it's...
I've got a DIY 12' in 1.7 MTN that I'd part with.
Here's the thread where I bought it: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php/140871-DIY-12-1-7-Robic-Hammock
I added a ridgeline. ...
Hello,
I'm looking to sell my Loco Libre Saver Series Habaneros. Each quilt is 50" long by 48" wide. I ordered these quilts in June of last year, so I'm guessing they probably came in last...
All LoopAliens are bought and paid for. Thanks HammockForums.
Two pairs have been sold. One pair is left.
I'm relisting these because there was some confusion. I'm selling 3 pairs of LoopAlien Ti UFAs. These are the LoopAliens with the gap in the largest loop so that you don't have to make a bight. ...
Sorry folks. I should have clarified. I can't sell more than 3 items at a time so I can't sell the LoopAliens individually here. If somebody wants the whole set for $42 I'll ship out Monday.
The Dutchware set is sold and paid for. LoopAliens are still available.
I've got some titanium sitting around that I no longer use and figured somebody else might be able to get it back into the field. It's all been used, but shows no sign of wear. I'll cover shipping,...

Waking up to sights like this. One thing about hammocks that appeals to me is not having to be enclosed in plastic when I'm trying to enjoy nature. It's a more...
About a month ago Wal-Mart had some clearance hammocks for $5 a piece. My mother-in-law got one for each of our kids and I hung them in their rooms. They're just cheapo nine footers that are worth...
I don't have overfill on any of my quilts, and have had no problems staying warm. I know that some swear by it, but if I'm that worried about it I'll just carry a quilt that's rated for a lower...
Do you happen to know the weight of this tarp? Also, I'm assuming it's 11' long, do you have the finished width?
Great questions. I'll give my best attempt at honest answers.
1) Other than the ability to organize items, what other advantages does the wall shelf have over a peak shelf? Any disadvantages? I...
There are D-rings on both sides of the hammock. You just pull the elastic straps out of the D-rings on one side and move them to the other side. The hassle comes when you find that you have to keep...
I have used my Trail Liar with the wall shelf on a couple of trips now. It's a good system, but did require a couple of tweaks. First, the little cord locks that hold the elastic lines to the edge...
I keep my straps in a stuff sack with my stakes and guylines. It gets tucked into the same side pocket that holds my tarp on the outside of my pack. That way when I get to camp everything I need to...
I went to the Lawson site a couple weeks ago looking to buy some Glowire that'd be thinner than the 2mm I currently have. I'd for sure be buying some as soon as I heard it was available. I'm not a...
I had a Chameleon. It went up for sale shortly after I got my first SLD. I love my Trail Liar and have my second Tree Runner being delivered tomorrow. I have a lot of Dutchware gear, but as far as...
I like Lawson Glowire. I was using Ironwire, but had a middle of the night emergency that caused me to run into the woods in the rain with little abandon to eject some bad beef stroganoff. After my...
I've got 1/8" shock cord on it currently, but I'm switching it out for 1/16". The 1/8" is overkill in my opinion.
My Trail Liar came in today! It's fantastic, as one would expect from Jared. Unfortunately, I have a graduation party to head out to, so I couldn't take a ton of time taking pictures. I snapped a...
Tracking says that it'll show up tomorrow. I'm honestly not sure what to expect either, but I figure I should be able to remove it if I don't like it.
I asked Jared about this before ordering my latest. This is how he described it to me:
It angles off from he ridgeline down one side of the hammock to the
zipper. It can go on either side, but...
Yeah, I think I'm going to pick up some mini groundhogs. Not because the shepards hooks aren't filling my needs, more out of wanting to experiment.
I only use Ti shepards hooks and I've never had a problem. There are times when they struggle to hold in real loose soil, but I just drop a rock or stick on them and they're fine. YMMV
I'm 6'0" and I love me a wide hammock. I had a standard 58" Chameleon and it put enough pressure on my outside knee that I was having trouble walking after a couple nights in it. I haven't had any...
Sweet. I'll post up some pictures when it comes in. I believe he said that his Robic order was supposed to be in today, so I'm sure they'll be coming soon.
Very nice. I've got one in Vader Blue Robic 1.7 on its way. My Tree Runner is in the Robic and I love it. Definitely my favorite of the hammock fabrics I've tried.
I'm the exact same size as you. The SLD Treerunner in Robic 1.7 is my hammock of choice. Super comfy, and I find the wider fabric to be much more comfortable than standard width.
Looks like they posted an update on 4/10. It's delayed, but they seem to be moving forward with manufacturers.
...
I'm 6 foot tall. I have both 72" and 78" TQs. I much prefer the 72". I don't ever pull my quilt over my head and the 72" quilt is plenty long to tuck up under my chin. The 78" quilt is just a waste...
Most people that use cinch buckles seem to leave the straps permanently connected to their hammock, as in the continuous loop that you see spliced onto the cinch buckle is the same one that's...

Ozark Trail Current River Segment. My hiking partner was a ground dweller, but the site was amazing and I really like the pictures that came out of it.
Personally, I think a bed is more comfortable than a hammock. I have a hammock set up in the basement that I'll lay in when watching TV because I find it more comfortable than the couch. I don't...
I think that you might not be getting a ton of replies due to the newness of the Half-Zip and similarity to the Darien. You're basically looking for somebody that has a Darien and decided within the...
I'll just add another confirmation that you're much more likely to be too cold in the 30 than too warm in the 20. I've used a 20 degree underquilt as warm as the 60s with no problems. Just loosen...
I thought it was called a split ridgeline?
You're definitely not talking to yourself. I just don't have much to add at this point, but I'm definitely interested in what you have to say. I'm under the 300 lb. limit, but not by a ton. ...
I've gotten a couple of offers on this quilt, but have decided to keep it for my wife and/or children to use. Thanks BF!!
I've had more than 300 lbs on my Beetle Buckles and been fine. I don't know what they're rated for or what they'll actually hold, but I've seen no signs of failure at 300+ lbs. I use them with the...
I am always amazed at Jared's customer service and speed. He's not only fast, but he'll take the time to work with you to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. I don't know how that's...
Responded. Quilt still available for now.
