Improvements in leaps and bounds!
Can I suggest that the thick cord/bungee/weed eater cord should be kept as straight as possible and not sneak through the gaps, otherwise the clews are pulled...
Clever origami idea! I like it!

I measured the weight at 892g with the asym "triangles" and clews (comfortable and easy), up from 868g with standard (uncomfortable) suspension, and up from 846g with clews with extra extension shock...
I started with a rectangle and laid out the underquilt so an opposing corner touched each side. Then I sewed it on. Then, after discovering the quilt sagged in the middle, I roughly cut the "middle"...

I also had trouble with this, and found my plastic "quilt hooks" which I hooked over the edge of my hammock uncomfortable at the foot end (ok at the head). Maybe asymmetric clews including some...
I did 8 and...
I also thought this when I started, but my thin elastic Lark's heads would keep loosening off the split rings, so the weaving kept them in place. And the weaving looks cool.

I used hat elastic (8m) for each clew, bought at my local sewing supply shop (Spotlight). This wasn't quite enough as my quilt is not full length, so I extended the foot end with another split ring...
I connected the clews to the quilt by cutting small holes in the the end channels and using a thicker shock cord inside the channel and threading each clew through the small holes then threading the...

My first post: I tried rigging my 2/3 quilt, with moderate success.
