Weekly bump :-)
Yes, still looking. Thanks!
Hi all. I am looking to trade either a Amok Draumr 3.0 or a Hammock Tent 90º Gamma UL for a double layer Warbonnet Ridgerunner with bug net and tarp.
Both of these hammocks are in great shape and...
Yay, got my confirmation! Estimated delivery Friday by 8:00 pm.
Not yet, but I did get an email from them stating that they will start shipping in the US today. You must have ordered before me. Congratulations! Can’t wait till I get mine.
Nice, congratulations! You have achieved what I have been working on for a couple of years. Not sure I will ever get my wife off of the ground.
Get them into Scouting or similar programs.
Looks good, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the review.
Looks good, thanks for the pics.
Yeah, it is nice to have the option of going to ground if necessary. Doesn’t look to bad.
Winnebago, I mean Ninix, looks good. Thanks for the review!
Looks good, thanks for the review!
Wow, interesting!
Lol, I love it!
Yeah, definitely looks more like a cot than a hammock. If I were going to use something like this I think I’d prefer the flat lay of a cot over this.
Looks nice, thanks for the review!
Nice. Let us know your thoughts about it tomorrow.
I would try a bridge or 90 degree hammock if gathered end is not working for you.
Hammock, then tarp (unless it is raining).
Wow, looks like the bear is having fun. Not sure how comfortable I would be sleeping in it after that. Would hate to wake up with a surprise guest.
Looks like the Multimoks are sold out. Interesting concept, would be nice to see a review.
Looks good. I assume it will work with the Amok Draumr xl that is coming out next year?
Placed the order today. My son wanted the rust red, so I ordered rust red and green. Blue looks nice, but I went with the green to blend in better. Got 2x of the Draumr xl, xl pad and tarp. Ooh and...
Thanks for the offer Chesapeake. I live about a mile from the Ohio River, so that would be a bit of a drive for me. Have a 90 degree Hammock Tent and an Amok Draumr that I may be selling soon to get...
Nice review, I may need to check this out.
That Clark looks interesting. Would like to see some reviews on it when it is released.
Either way, it is always important to respect Mother Nature’s power and carefully inspect the trees you intend to use and your surroundings. Tragic story.
Nice, I’ll be sure to get one when I place my order. Think I will go with blue and green. My son is outgrown his Hammock Tent 90 UL, so I need 2 :)
Yay, been waiting for your review Shug, thanks! The new Borg tarp looks nice too.
Nice, pics look great!
Daughter and dog usually sleep in a tent. Otherwise I just use a cheap Walmart bugnet and pad under the same tarp.
Grats on the new gear!
PropellerHead posted a good link in this forum https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php/148793-How-NOT-to-use-your-hammock-(funny) yesterday that you might be able to get some ideas from :-)
Perfect time indeed, I am sure it will be an experience.
Looking forward to it, will check it out this weekend.
Lol, looks like he/she is having a blast!
I think that this should have been posted in the reviews section ;-)
Welcome from WV!
I have the green as well. I like it with the trees, debating between that and the blue. Anyone who has seen both colors have an opinion?
Nice, thanks for the review!
Have been thinking about the Ridgerunner, but I usually side sleep in the fetal position. I know it tapers in toward the middle. Does this make it difficult to side sleep in the fetal position?
Regarding the bug net, I also noticed that they added the ability to insert a stick or small pole in the head end of the hammock which seems to do a good job at keeping the bug net out of your face.
Great. I have the 3.0. Watched a review from The Ultimate Hang. Looking forward to your review Shug, they are as entertaining as they are informative!
I’m seriously thinking about preordering one of these (30% off if you preorder this month). I have seen the videos and it looks like some improvements. How does the lay compare?
Thanks for the input! I will give the turtledog a try. Headed to Florida soon, so I will need to wait till I get back to make it.
I have an Amok Dramur and my son has a 90 Degree Hammock Tent. We like to get out, but aren't able to very often. We would hang in our basement most every weekend, but recently got a cat and don't...
Welcome, have fun tomorrow!
Another welcome from West Virginia! This is a great forum.
