    I like camping Platte River Campground near Deckers. You wake up on the edge of gold medal waters. If you look it up on Google maps I left a review with several pics

    Even on highly traveled trails, I've never had an issue with theft. People that go into backcountry and longer distant trails tend to have an unspoken code and are very respectful.
