I finally went with 3rd iteration where I removed original feet completely and substitute them with my version of TPU feet. This way it is definitely better than the original with no weight penalty....
Definitely worth to try, I’m super happy with the result. Only thing is, these press-fit parts are sensitive to print quality and filament calibration. But you can always take a file or sharp blade...

Snaps pretty tight and it's dimensions are made specificaly for the Helinox. It can fit as I see from the pictures the feet of REI chair looks very similar but I can't guarantee.
