I have an ENO Profly XL I use when not hiking. It is 13 feet. I have put it in both the Hammock Gear and Dutchware single skins just fine.
Ditto:
I have Winter Dream 13 and do the same

I learned to be the first to the mail box. . .
I like the idea of gravel or Mtn bike for this loaded trip. Maybe a little slower but more robust.
I have friends that used road/touring bikes and it handled the loads well while going down paved...
Will need to make room for all the Bike Packing equipment Dutch will offer after he gets back.
At least I hope So. What a great trip. I now have the bug to take my long trip next year.
Looks great
I love UGQ's workmanship
Enjoy
Looks great
will be best for winter camping
wartemelon is so much better chilled.
I wish I had more suppliers to my company that gave the high level of service Dutch and his team does.
Mixed experiences
i have friends that had good ones, while the one I had was crap, and the one thefactory sent to replce kept breaking down.
That is what I do, then bring up the foot end about 6 inches for my liking. I leave the line level on the ridgeline.
I like the "Raw Meat" Best.
Thanks for keeping these coming. . .
When I use external Pole mods, I make sure my CRL is above the tarp so poles rest on them, rather than the tarp directly.
I saw this announced today-(Anticipated it coming soon)
Placed order today
Dutch notified me it shipped today
You Guys Rock..
I looked at mine and the quality of the feathers was poor, and very little down. Not worth it.
The sounds can be too funny sometimes.
On one of my first trips I heard a large munching and heavy stepping sounds, and I thought it may be a bear.
Turned out to be a sheep herders horse got loose...
My 2 cents.
I have tried both, and do like the give and control the 4 inch length of bungee gives on each line.
I also feel it takes up a little slack so under hard wind, it does not pull so hard...
Thanks for the info.
I was also looking at a new summer UQ but should not wait the 8 weeks.
I ordered today and WL is shipping next week.
If this is a big issue, Couldn't you just use one of those hot tub hammocks that hold water?
Glad someone went to the source of someone that really uses Hammocks.
So that what that little door is on the bottom corner of some tents. Maybe one installed in the bottom or side of the Hammock? HA
I am the same age and I use zip lock baggies. I am one that do not...
THX This helps me to make a decision this week and lock our group in.
No more space. I was using Bishops Bag and is basic same size.
Having the hammock deploy in a sleeve from the start makes it easier to manage, especially in windy conditions.
I am planning the same trip first of Aug. I have several friends that have done it and many were hangers as well.
They all loved the trip and recommended it to me and the group we are taking.
...
Any pattern to obscure my nappy knees would help.
Just got mine today
This is a great addition to my hammock set up.
Working well for me in my basement. Used them several times this winter with no issues.
High. (The hanging type)
Welcome
I like the Galaxy pattern. Does Saturn have trees?
Wow I can now be fashion coordinated with my Sparrow.
It like getting a new Man Purse? HA
I am a solid supporter of Winter Dream Tarps from UGQ
I have their WD 12 for backpacking and WD13XL for car camping, since I have all Pole mods to expand it to the largest size for family use.
I have tried several premade pillows, and although found a couple to be just OK, I just made my own with a dog bone shape. The center cradles my neck well, and the sides are a little wider for sides...
THX
I will try the fabric glue. Using pins and fabric clamps is not enough to stop the shifting while sewing tight turns.
I tried the Krazy Glue last night before I saw your comment.
The Krazy...
Welcome from Michigan
A great group of people and knowledge resources here.
Dutch is killing me, I am having a hard time selling enough blood to keep up. . . .HAAAAAAAAA
I tried a couple searches and could not find anything.
I am trying my hand at some complicated (at least for me) circles and curved sewing of Argon fabric and feel if I could glue pc together...
I just saw the tweet
"We're releasing 6 new prints today! CloakWare and both PrivacyX patterns have no repeat over 5 yards! These prints were built specifically for hammocks and tarps in mind. See...
Dutch must be listening to all the Woo Hoo's when this came out.
I am one of them, and looking for a 12ft long one (Already sent quote request)
My wife no longer likes tent or hammock camping, but really had a second thought after seeing that aquarium tarp.
Beautiful.
Shug shares a syllable with the most highly addictive substance known to man?!
Shug and Chocolate?
The bean print looks great. Better than the small swatch on the website.
I would also consider these Cocoa Beans. . . Chocolate anything goes with everything?
Or so Willy Wonka said. .
I am not sure how more I can go with that. . . HA
I now have 2 different print patterns and plain one for over cover. Maybe one for every holiday too?
Too bad it takes special license to do...
I am regularly called "Dammit" Will that fit?
For those just itching for more bling?
(Sorry--I could not resist)
Looks great.
I am waiting for my Leaf pattern bug net. I will share when it comes in
Welcome and enjoy
I live out there a long time ago and miss the mountains
This is sweet
12 footers in future?
Thanks this is great
Not finalized yet but considering the Picture Rocks northern trail
Go Great Lake Loons.
I am taking a group of scouts hiking and camping along Lake Superior this early fall for 3 days.
I think Michigan is one of the best states to hang.
Enjoy
Welcome.
What part of MEEEEchigan are you from.
