Honestly, if you have or can use a router, I would say try to buy a table of Craigslist and make it yourself. I've done it and I love it. It's cheap and it just works.

I have also used magnets on a backpack. They worked awesome!

I have made a bridge hammock with a magnetic bugnet.... sounds cool in concept, but attaching all of the magnets is kind of a pain.

Oh. I was trying to bash it at all. I think it is truly awesome. I have used the dyneema gridstop on packs, but never on a hammock.

The problem is of it rains you are sleeping in a wet hammock.

I am making a waterproof happy kitty sock of sorts, and am tripped up on how I should do the ends. I do t know how to make it so that water cannot drop in. And suggestions/ideas? Thanks.

The bridgeskin is an awesome design! However, didn't you say it was limited in the rain?

What is ppef?

The fob looks interesting.

For hammocks industrial machines are unnecessary. A home sewing machine with guterman Mara thread is all that is needed.

Thanks for the link! I have already used hangnout's footbox design and I really enjoy it.

I have already made 2 simple gathered ends both with footboxes, 1 with full zipper top, and 4 bridge hammocks. I was curious what fellow forums members were experimenting with.

Can someone please give me a link to the most comfortable and functional net less hammock design? (Footbox?)

Just go on Craigslist and get a singer 21

That was my first hammock as well! :)

Hey Jaxx! If this is not too much to ask, I wanted to know what is he height of the sock?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks good! Does it have a differential cut? I know it's not needed but I am going to do one soon and I think I might have one.

I am a hammocker in the summer and a ground dweller in the winter(bivy). I found WL almost a year ago and ordered a tq. I use it to this day and I love it. You will not be disappointed! I don't know...
I have a size regular that I used in a single layer bridge that worked fantastic!

I don't even use an under quilt most of the time I started to go full pad all of the time. Although that should work but the whether it will keep you war or not in dependent on many factors, how...
I use a frameless pack with a pad as a "frame sheet" so it works well for me.

Is there a place where I could get the dimensions?

I am making the big leap and next house I go to I am sleeping in hammock only. Has anyone ever done this, is it good? If so what kind of hammock, I have made many gathered end and bridge hammocks...
You can use your backpacks as a pad and your poles to hold up the tarp

I am making a bridge hammock and wanted to know if anyone had any plans? I want to try to do one with nice end caps.

I have a thermarest neoair xlite regular that I absolutely love. But on the other hand I also love my diy argon hammock. I want to find a way to comfortably use them together. Is there anything I can...
Hexon is a type of nylon btw. And it sounds like that would work, although they make wind proof fabrics for underquilts that would be much simpler to make and lighter.

Thanks, I've already made a winter climashield apex quilt with 2 layers of 7.5 oz climashield but it's way overkill and a little heavy for my liking
